I proudly presents you UT2004 Polish Community Fragmovie features many great players from Poland.
I put a high pressure on synch with music, which is well composed to such fast FPS as UT2004 is. (no, no there isn’t any linkin park song or evanescence ).
What is more I wanted to make movie clearly edited with many special effects, which won’t disturb enjoying it, but boost visual experiences.
Firstly I was working on: Athlon XP 2100+, 512 RAM & GF6. So editing was like a horror. What is more I gained many great demos with awesome frags, but many of them were recorded with 25fps so I was doing my best to do as smooth movie as it was possible. Many polish players play ut2k4 even if they have max 30fps in game!
Whatever, making this movie took me almost 2 months and a number of hours spent on making it. This is my 4th production and I gained all my experience and used in this mega project.
The beginning is in a moment when a topic, where polish players were able to paste their frags were made. I realized that I can organize them, and make a great movie featuring polish players. After I collected demos I started working on it. At first there was a technical problem, because after I spent about 50h on making intro my hdd died and there was nothing I could do to backup my files. So I started everything right from beginning. There are good sides of this accident – I made a better intro Few weeks later I move my project to my asus with dual core 1,66GH 1GB RAM and GF Go 7300. Rendering time changed from 70h to 25h :] And then everything went better.
Our community is very small and it was hard to complete a right number of demos to make a movie. What is more demoplayback in ut2k4 is very poorly equipped. But my determination brought up to you a kind of a must download movie :]

The Czech community frag movie presenting the best frags, chosen from the demos sent in by the Czech people
(who were not very interested in this project and a lot of others who were too lazy to search their
x-gig UT folders for the best moments of their UT careers ;P). Of course, there were few players,
who seemed very interested in this, and started a hard work. However, after few previews of the best frags, we found so
far, more and more people started searching their best frags and we finally decided to keep working on this project.
To be honest, you cant even imagine, how shitty frags few ppl sended .

Anyway, as soon as the movie had been almost done (over 70%), my harddisc had fucked up and everything seemed pretty bad, fortunately
there's a guy named fakt0r (thanks alotdude!) who managed to help me with with restoring files on my hdd, and we were able to countinue
our work on this movie.

A big shame is, that we haven't managed to seek all the raka's demos (over 10GBs), who told us he has a monster kill in a 1v1 game on Deck16][ (!).
The movie could have been even better and more unique in this way.

The main verison is in a mp4 codec, but obviously there's also an xVid version uploaded for those who are not able to play a mp4 movies (380MBs and a bit
worse quality).

Whiners² is the ut tdm & ctf clan's 2nd frag highlight movie! We collected footage for almost over a year and I finally got the spark to put it all together.

The first whiners' movie was a success, being the only UT movie nominated in the GGL's Golden Llama 2005 awards with 2 nominations, Best Presentation & Best Unreal! So if the first movie was good, this is GREAT!

You can expect crazy frags mixed with metal music and clean editing. I had to rush the project in the end, so the credits are pretty boring. Hope you will like all the other content!

This is also my farewell to the ut scene, going to the army today! A must download for a ut'er and for anybody who likes ownage frags synced to metal!

Only for polish. Tak więc dopisałem kolejny artykulik - jak ominąć podstawowe błędy i usprawnić pracę: RypelCam - problemy cz.1. Powstał głównie dlatego, że zbyt często zadajecie te pytania. W miarę zadawania kolejnych, przybędzie następnych części ^^
